WorkSafe now mandates that all individuals holding, or aspiring to hold, mining statutory positions must complete specific units of competency focused on risk management and safety. Our face-to-face course is designed specifically for those who already have the practical skills and knowledge, enabling you to meet WorkSafe's latest requirements quickly and efficiently. As outlined in Schedule 26 of the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022, these units are: • BSBWHS414 Contribute to WHS risk management • BSBWHS411 Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures and programs During this course, you will work through simulated scenarios, and review the regulations, to provide context to complete the templates and reports that must be submitted for the assessment to complete the units of competency.
